Is the Sick Economy Hurting Your Breasts?

Milk, baby food, winter boots, bigger boobs—whoops, that last item may not make your financial must-have list this year, suggests a recent story in The New York Times. According to the article, a survey conducted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons found that 60% of member surgeons had performed fewer breast augmentation procedures so far in 2008. The decline reflects a downward trend in cosmetic medicine that started as the economy slowed earlier this year, and it’s likely to worsen, according to Richard A.
