Increase in Male Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery has become a popular choice for both men and women – with the procedures called gynecomastia and mammoplasty respectively. Breast reduction figures for 2008 for men and women constituted 3,845 – a rise of 13 per cent on the previous year. In total, these figures reveal an increase of 44 per cent to a total 323 procedures undertaken by men in 2008.
