NY plastic surgery group fakes it with bogus Botox
Medical staff at an upstate New York plastic surgery practice have admitted to giving unsuspecting patients a cheaper Botox substitute not approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
Five doctors, a nurse and an administrator from Albany-based Plastic Surgery Group, LLP pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court and face up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine when they’re sentenced in December.
