Senate Kills Botox Tax, Adds Tanning Tax
The Senate bill on health care reform has good news and bad for those who use artificial means to look better in the mirror. The legislation scraps a proposed 5% tax on cosmetic surgery but adds a 10% tax on indoor tanning beds that deliver UV rays.

Former Miss. Argentina dies after buttocks implant surgery
Former beauty queen and model Solange Magnano, 38, died Sunday after suffering a pulmonary embolism following a cosmetic procedure known as gluteoplasty – or buttocks augmentation.
Her procedure took place on Thursday, but was rushed to his hospital Sunday with an acute respiratory deficiency. She ultimately suffered an embolism and died.
